This is the first of 11 tasting articles devoted to primeurs samples of the nearly 600 wines recently tasted by me in Bordeaux (sometimes twice, occasionally three times), supplemented by 44 Grand Cercle wines tasted by Richard in London and a couple more tasted in London by Julia.
