The fourth annual FT/Pol Roger taste-off between graduates of the world's most famous business schools took place at the end of October at the Financial Times' London offices with INSEAD, Harvard and London Business Schools fielding several teams each. The FT also submitted a team and the event was compèred (rather superfluously I could not help feeling) by myself. At long last, even if by only a whisker, INSEAD did not win! Winners were one of Harvard's teams who notched up exactly the same score as INSEAD's longstanding winning team but were awarded the trophy on a technicality.
