German 2012s – VDP Nahe, Rheinhessen, Mittelrhein

As shown in Germany 2012 – the guide, my first batch of notes from the VDP Weinbörse in Mainz at the end of April, the first and largest presentation of the latest vintage by this association of German premium wine producers, was published here in May. They focus mainly on producers from the Mosel and Saar region, though I did manage to include a few of the bigger names from the Nahe, Rheinhessen and the Pfalz.
