This is a long overdue report on a weekend I spent on Mallorca in the summer of 2011. It was another victim of the Wine Grape's domineering timetable (although the book was the beneficiary of an opportunity to taste local varieties such as Callet, Fogoneu and the just-surviving Gorgollasa). I recently received an email from Toni Gelabert (pictured), one of the producers whose wines are described below, about London Mallorca week, which starts today, providing many an opportunity to try Mallorcan food and wine.
