More champagne offers for British bargain hunters

This is a great time of year for champagne bargains – certainly in the UK anyway.

I am indebted to purple pager Martin Nettleton of Yorkshire for the tip that CostCo are currently offering Krug Grande Cuvée at £64 and Dom Pérignon 1996 for just £58, both including VAT and both plus pennies. I'd keep that Krug a while.

A bit lower down the scale but far from rock bottom, it's worth looking at Lea & Sandeman who always have some interesting champagne discounts – especially of course if the wine is bought in quantity. I was very impressed by their...
