Tam writes From Bellet in the south-eastern corner just a bus ride from Monaco, to Collioure and Banyuls in the south-western corner just a few kilometres from the Spanish border, the wine regions of southern France are too manifold to generalise. The soils are complex, the grape varieties numerous, the wine styles cover every possibility, and even climate doesn't offer a commonality.
