Pichon Lalande moves into South Africa

The formidable chatelaine of Ch Pichon Lalande, May-Eliane de Lencquesaing has been in love with South Africa for some time. This was frirst made clear to me when I stumbled across the visitors' book in the only game reserve I have ever visited on the edge of the Kruger National Park. There was a whole page dedicated to her and the many grandchildren she had brought there on holiday, together with an eerie but gifted drawing of a creature that looked like a cross between her and a lion.
