Re-engineering of German vineyards

David Schildknecht, our valued guide around the German wine jungle, writes:
The listings have now been completed by VDP members from each German growing region of those vineyards other than "great growths" (Grosses Gewächs) that will henceforth still be permitted mention on a label.
The vineyards in question are those in the so-called "second level of the VDP quality pyramid" known as Klassifizierte Lagenweine or "wines from classified sites".
To quote Prinz Michael Salm from last Monday’s press release:
