The Chianti Rufina zone is often overlooked, being north east of Florence (Carmignano is north west) but is famous for its wines’ longevity and is home to this jewel of a wine producer – whose label also adorns some of the finest honey known to this woman. The estate is now run by Federico Giuntini, who presented the wines below at Liberty Wine’s tenth anniversary celebration.
