Silly lists – the best new wine producers?

Most professional specialist journalists are plagued by editors who want them to come up with The Best Of.... lists or 20 Great Ways To... These are anathema to those of us who are sensitive to the nuances of our subject matter. It is practically impossible to reduce what many of us have devoted our working lives to examining in detail to a glib shorthand.
