Tasca + Etna = Tascante

It was surely inevitable that Sicily's first fine-wine producer would establish themselves on the volcano … bottle-shot by Benedetto Tarantino.
You may remember that Walter, not easily impressed, was rather bowled over by his evening with Alberto Tasca d’Almerita back in 2012. The energetic Tasca is the current family member in charge of the aristocratic Regaleali estate in the heart of Sicily, south-east of Palermo. Under his aegis the Tascas have been busy spreading their wings from their original base, so it is hardly surprising that they decided to sniff around the island’s vinous hotspot Etna.
