On Sunday 13 October I, and three other restaurant critics – Fay Maschler of The Evening Standard, Caroline Stacey from The Independent and Bill Knott from BA's High Life – will be preparing a dinner for chefs, people in the restaurant industry and anyone else who enjoys eating out to raise money for Action against Hunger UK, a charity which works to eliminate hunger worldwide.
The venue is The Cinnamon Club, Old Westminster Library, Great Smith Street, SW1 and Champagne Delbeck will be served from 18.30.
Tickets cost £100 per person (with reductions for tables of six or more) but because the wine, food and champagne have been generously donated most of this money will go directly to the charity.
