Von Buhl both dry and sweet

Reichsrat Von Buhl’s first-ever tasting in London focused on their dry Grosses Gewächs wines because although 85% of Von Buhl’s production is dry, they sell very little dry wine in the UK, where they are better known for their sweet wines. The line-up included a flight of 2007s followed by a small vertical tasting of the Forster Kirchenstück (pictured) that showed the critical influence of each vintage’s conditions and the superb quality of the 2007.
