Many wine lovers take a stand, favouring one or the other. Wine producers also take a stand pro one or the other. Those in Australia’s Clare Valley, led by Jeffrey Grosset, went over to screwcaps completely at the beginning of the century, to be followed by virtually all Australian and New Zealand wine producers.
Many producers of aromatic whites elsewhere, notably in Germany...
