Zubair Mohamed started selling wine at the back of his father's florist shop in Edinburgh in 1984. According to the World of Fine Wine's Neil Beckett, a long-standing friend of Zubair, in the beginning you would never have known from the outside that there was wine for sale. Now a successful shipper and wholesaler, still with that original shop, Raeburn Fine Wines has a portfolio of world-class wines, including those of Soldera, Gravner, Brovia, Dry River, Pichler-Krutzler, J L Chave, Niepoort, to name but a few.
