Peter Pan may have inspired some of these deliciously mature wines tasted at the Kloster Und restaurant (pictured) in Krems on the eve of the tasting described in Austria's impressive 2015 whites. Others were starting to show their age, gracefully.
For this line-up, each member of the private association known as Österreichischer Traditionsweingüter (ÖTW), involving producers from Kamptal, Kremstal, Traisental and Wagram, was invited to submit a mature wine from any vintage divisible by five.
