Walter's tasting notes on the Amarone 2010s are now published.
This year's presentation of the new Amarone 2010 vintage, tasting notes on which will follow tomorrow, was all about economics. Before we, the assembled international press, were allowed to taste one drop of wine, we were ushered into a large conference room in the bowels of the Palazzo Gran Guardia, right across from Verona's world famous Arena (pictured), where we were served a full two-hour immersion in Amaronics – the economic health and future of Amarone.
