Bordeaux 2005, 10 years on
Monday, 9 February 2015

This week will be devoted to Bordeaux. Don’t all groan. There are some truly marvellous examples of this unique, and uniquely long-ageing, category – as witness the collection of 70 wines I describe below. You can read a more detailed overview of this thoroughly uplifting tasting in 2005 bordeaux at 10 years.
Julia’s comprehensive report on how the 2011 bordeaux are coming along, based on the annual Southwold tasting last month, will be published on Tuesday (right-bank reds), Wednesday (left-bank reds) and Thursday (dry and sweet whites).
