Ch Figeac 2005–2019

This historic St-Émilion estate held a 15-vintage vertical tasting in the bright and airy tasting room of the new, €15 million, state-of-the-art winery, officially unveiled in March 2021. But despite the impressive architecture and feats of engineering, it was the bottle at lunch that revealed the true identity of Ch Figeac.
Madame Marie-France Manoncourt, honorary chair and co-manager of Figeac, had decided on a 1946 that had never been reconditioned or left the château...
