On a rainy Saturday in September 2008, the 13th, to be precise, Aubert de Villaine of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (pictured) began to think they would not be making any wine in 2008. However, on Sunday 14 September the sun came out and the drying north wind started up, signalling a change in the weather that was worthy of lastminute.com.
