Jancis writes I have to confess that this may be one of the strangest assemblages in this collection of 23 of them.
Since the tasting notes in our assemblages are contributed by our UK-based team rather than by either of our US-based specialists Alder Yarrow and Elaine Chukan Brown, it perforce reflects the fact that North American wines are still – despite the best efforts of importers such as Roberson, The Winery, The Wine Treasury, The Vineyard Cellars, Flint Wines and Armit – under-represented in Britain.
