Is bargain burgundy an oxymoron nowadays?
Since so many of us love burgundy but not its prices, it seems sensible to try to seek out the better-priced burgundies. The wines described below are sold either by Domaine Direct, a specialist in top-quality burgundy for decades, or by the Vindependents group of independent wine retailers alluded to in my recent article about Jamie and Jessica Hutchinson’s encounters with French bureaucracy.
