Soviet wine archive – tasting notes

I took part in an extraordinary tasting of 120 'treasures' from the Soviet era during my recent visit to Russia's Black Sea coast. Below are my tasting notes on these extraordinary wines dating from the early 1950s, entered in the right-hand column of the grid with which I was issued. (Deuced efficient, these Russians.)
