Last March, just after my colleague Tim Atkin MW had been presented with the International Wine Communicator of the Year at a dinner at Vinitaly, I received an irate email from Canadian wine writer and Master Sommelier John Szabo (unrelated to, but a close associate of, Zoltan Szabo who wrote here recently about his first ever trip to Germany).
