Vega Sicilia (profiled here) belongs to a number of associations and groups, such as Primum Familiae Vini, the association of family-owned wine producers, and Fundación Para la Cultura del Vino, a non-profit organisation created jointly by a number of wineries to promote wine culture in Spain. Current members are Chivite, Bodegas La Rioja Alta, Bodegas Vega Sicilia, Vinos de los Herederos del Marqués de Riscal, Bodegas Muga and Bodegas Terras Gauda with the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Sea and Environment.
