It may seem difficult to believe that spring is on its way in Britain, but Ascot Racecourse is dangling the following prospect in front of purple pagers. On Saturday 9 May the famous Berkshire racecourse is combining a day’s horse racing, including the totesport Victoria Cup, with the third Ascot Racecourse Festival of Wine, and purple pagers are being offered a £5 discount on tickets.
