This will be my final ‘pick of the day’ report, based on the vast Jadot tasting on Monday and one organised in the most beautiful Soho townhouse last night by Flint Wines, run by ex OW Loeb Jason Haynes and partner. Most of the Flint suggestions are good bargains while I have cherry-picked my favourite Jadot wines, mostly (still unbottled) whites which owe their freshness to deliberate suppression of full malolactic fermentation.
A full set of tasting notes on everything tasted by Julia and me in Burgundy and London will follow later in the month.
