In Britain there's a wine company called Bibendum Wine. They have a perfectly respectable range and do lots of things: import, distribute, broke fine wine, sell wine from cheap to ridiculously expensive, supply supermarkets, restaurants and airlines, create their own brands, and win prizes for being a thoroughly good employer. I take my hat off to them, like a lot of their employees, and congratulate them on snagging Andrew Shaw (pictured) from Waitrose as their new head of buying, 'a new role with a remit to oversee wine ranging, supplier relationships and new product development within Kirstie Papworth's commercial team'...
