Just as in Bordeaux, there is a whole lot of building going on in the Côte d'Or – presumably reflecting the high prices the top wines have been fetching recently. (There was even a joke about the Porsches of the vignerons of Gevrey from the stage at the Chapître des Chevaliers de Tastevin at Clos de Vougeot last month.)
