A foretaste of the excellent 2012 vintage fittingly concluded the week of themed tastings that comprised the California Wine Summit. The quality of the vintage played its part but the selection by Alder Yarrow, who moderated this tasting, was truly excellent, with wines from a wide range of appellations and producers, each one chosen to showcase both the vintage and the region of origin.
