Birmingham, Britain's second city in the heart of the Midlands for all you furriners, is not best served for wine events and tastings, which is why I publish the following.
New Zealand Winegrowers will be holding a wine tasting event in Birmingham on 7 October 2003. Visitors will be able to taste wines from award winning producers and discover the wide range of varietals that New Zealand has to offer, be it the celebrated Sauvignon Blancs; the evocative aromatics, such as Riesling and Pinot Gris; or the fast emerging reds Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir.
