The big blind tasting of more than 200 significant 2006 bordeaux that I undertook in Southwold a couple of weeks ago served to confirm my admiration for the improvements that have been made at Château Lagrange in St-Julien in the Médoc. Recent vintages are certainly bearing fruit, while having no shortage of fine tannins. Ho, ho.
