Chardonnays around the world
This article began as a comparison of three Australian Chardonnays currently on special offer at Britain's most wine-minded supermarket Waitrose. Not least because Wolf Blass' Yellow Label Chardonnay has already featured here via its starring role in last year's Master of Wine exams, as relayed by Richard Hemming, I was keen to see how the current vintage tasted and to compare it with the similarly reduced McWilliams Mount Pleasant Isabelle from Tumbarumba.
