Every year, the producers of the Consorzio di Tutela del Chiaretto e del Bardolino hold the Anteprima del Chiaretto – possibly the pinkest primeur in the world. In 2020, the preview of the 2019 had to be cancelled due to the pandemic, but the 12th Anteprima was determinedly back on course, online. Two neat (and very pink) boxes were delivered to my doorstep, inside which were 50 teeny 3-cl bottles of wine in a gamut of pink.
