The current edition of hot (Harpers On Trade) the determinedly trendy magazine about the British restaurant business, devotes a major section (seven pages) to a survey of Britain's restaurant critics. They poll various different groups – restaurateurs, the critics themselves and 'the public' (friends of the editor, I'd guess, as they're all between 22 and 41 and have likely-looking occupations).
