UK upmarket supermarket chain Waitrose is running its French Wines Showcase from tomorrow 26 Mar to 27 Apr 2008. It features a total of 48 wines, all reduced in price, in shops or from Waitrose Wine Direct (www.waitrose.com/wine).
As part of the showcase they are launching four new wines (see below), including the rather delicious Taittinger Rosé NV, and have sourced 13 ‘small parcel wines’ from a wide range of less well-known appellations such as Quincy, Bergerac, Provence, Lirac, Savoie and Bandol.
