Lots of tasting yesterday. Louis Latour was, for the first time and earlier than any other single producer, showing their 2005s en primeur in London. An oddly mixed bag but much more impressive than the last time I tasted through their range, the 2003s. It’s far too early to give any definitive pronouncement on the 2005 burgundies but I do find myself looking for a bit more acidity in quite a significant proportion of whites. All very clean flavours though.
