Languedoc – the summer 2013 collection

During my recent stay in the Languedoc, as usual I had the chance to taste wines from all over the world, but was particularly interested in the local wines that came my way. (It was interesting, incidentally, that the non-Languedoc wines on the list of the Languedoc restaurant about which Nick will be writing tomorrow were much better value than the local ferments.)

Below are wines mainly from familiar addresses but also a collection from a notable new producer in the Corbières, Domaine de l'Amandyère, about which more can be found in L'Extravagante indeed.
