Argentina 2005
The harvest was a little bigger than in 2004 but, like Chile, benefited from a longer than usual ripening period yet with generally lower sugar ripeness by the time the seeds were ripe. Around 3,000 ha were destroyed by frost in early November 2005, mainly in the lower areas of the Uco Valley, and some areas south of Mendoza were struck by hail in February 2005. Good wines...
