We all know that the search function on this current site is pretty ropey. One of the most important new features we’re designing for the new site is a dramatically improved version. But Brazilian purple pager Rodrigo Mainardi has discovered a very superior and effective alternative to the current search box on this site that you can use immediately:
“You just go to google.com and click in the 'advanced search' option. Then you type jancisrobinson.com in the 'Search within a site or domain' box and type the text you would like to search in the 'all these words' box.”
Click here to go direct to the relevant Google page and don’t forget to put ‘jancisrobinson.com’ in the ‘Search within a site or domain’ box. It’s super-fast and includes all the material on purple pages except for tasting notes and the forum. This site-specific search function is a new and much-appreciated feature chez Google.
