Each year at the end of February producers of Chardonnay throughout Oregon make their way to the Allison Inn and Spa in Newberg for a day of pouring and discussing their wines at the Oregon Chardonnay Celebration. Friday evening there is an educational event, generally hosted by a local winery, followed by a panel discussion on Saturday morning relating to various aspects of viticulture and production, and concluding with a grand walk-around tasting.
