Last week I published tasting notes from a blind tasting of New World white wines that had been presented as possibilities for the Queen's cellar and dining table. At the same time, we blind tasted the following range of white burgundies, all of them retailing at almost twice the price of the New World wines – roughly £25 to £50 a bottle.
