Wine Relief 2005, the wine world's contribution to the biennial mega-fundraiser Comic Relief, is being launched at Vinopolis in London on the evening of Monday June 21 in conjunction with Bibendum Wine's now-famous annual Wine Options Game.
This event, attended by the great and the good of the wine trade and this year hosted by myself as well as Willie Lebus of Bibendum, is designed to raise a fine starting sum for Wine Relief so tickets aren't cheap, but the causes could not be more worthwhile. It promises to be a great evening combining fascinating wines with max pleasure, min humiliation and utter virtue.
