Just over two weeks ago, as I explained in Diary of a Barossa casual – part 7, I had to fly back early from Australia and move in with my grandmother in the Pacific Northwest. All of the plans I had made evaporated overnight. I had to apply for unemployment benefits, and start looking for vineyard work.
