The Wine Society's 2014 spring collection

The 46 wines below were chosen by the highly regarded British wine-buying co-operative organisation to show to us wine hacks earlier this month. I had the impression that there were more wines at the very bottom of the price range than usual, which may be why I came away less enthralled by the selection than usual – although there were many good buys among the reds.
