Last week we published The New Australia – 250 tasting notes, a collection of notes on many of the wines Julia and I have tasted in the last few months. But at the annual generic tasting of Australian wines in London, where many of these notes were taken, there were special rooms devoted to what Wine Australia regard as paradigms of various varietals.
