Master of Wine Andy Howard (pictured) was a buyer of food for multiple retailer M and S for 32 years and of wine for six years, so he has a special interest in Britain's omnipotent supermarkets and what they get up to with wine. Following his review of Asda's wine range at the end of last year, he presents his not entirely enthusiastic assessment of what is currently on offer at Waitrose – first of a series.
