Waitrose – what to buy

As outlined here, all Waitrose wines (including all champagne and fortified wines) are being reduced by 25% for the next week, provided you buy at least six bottles.

Only last week I had the chance to taste well over 100 of Waitrose's current offerings and publish my tasting notes, and the retailer's own copious technical notes, on each wine in the order they were shown (although I tasted fizz, then reds before whites in honour of the late Julian Brind MW, who firmly believed in the virtues of this tasting order).
