With their Italian wine offer The Wine Society is bringing out the big guns, which was reason enough for me to make the journey to their Stevenage offices – with their five gigantic warehouses – to have a taste. I was allowed to make my own selection of wines, 25 in total, with an additional handful added by Sarah Knowles MW, the Society's gifted buyer, who also takes care of Champagne...
