After my [and my – JR] Damascene experience of Ravenswood Old Hill Vineyard Zinfandel 2008 Sonoma Valley at the Institute of Masters of Wine Old Vines seminar, I had high expectations of this 'Stars of Zinfandel' tasting on day one of the California Wine Summit.
